Lynn O’Dowd
Unleash Your Inner Superstar!™
Is your staff overwhelmed, burned out, demotivated, and stuck? Could everyone benefit from being inspired, motivated, energized, and reignited in their passion for their jobs? Is it time to get your team back together again, get them excited, and re-committed to fresh goals?
You’re not the only ones. In one client’s words, “Our office had become stagnant . . . (Thank you Covid!).” They felt a need to jumpstart their organization’s success, shake things up . . . with something completely different.
These unusual times require unusual solutions! Enter Lynn O’Dowd’s “Unleash Your Inner Superstar” keynote presentation complete with an appearance by Lady Gaga! Yes, you read that correctly – well, not really Lady Gaga. But invoking her image, which will surprise and inspire everyone in the room.
Could FUN be the answer?
“Not only do fun experiences promote learning, but fun, laughter and humor in the workplace are critically important in uniting everyone and moving a team forward,” says Lynn O’Dowd. And she’s not guessing. An article in Inc., Magazine [Click here to read it.] cited proof of the claim in its headline that, “A boatload of science shows that teams that laugh more, perform better.”
“Did you know that research shows that happiness leads to success, and not the other way around?” Lynn asks.
In Lynn’s keynote, she covers setting outrageous goals and stepping out of your comfort zone, an opening that increases everyone’s success and happiness in business – and in life as well.
The fun part? How about getting people out of their chairs, clapping, singing, and dancing together on stage?
“I include music/entertainment in my keynote as it speaks directly to the heart and soul without filtering the content through mental chatter,” she says. “Music improves your mood, reduces your stress/anxiety, boosts your health and immune system, relieves your pain, and helps you sleep better.
“Music also activates certain regions in your brain which are involved in movement, planning, motivation, attention, learning, and memory. Music is a universal language with amazing countless benefits,” she concludes.
STEPPING OUT and GETTING RESULTS
Lynn speaks from experience.
“In a moment of madness,” she says, “after not singing for 35 years, I answered an ad to be a singer in a Rock’n’Roll band … and got the gig. In my talk I share my story about how stepping out of my comfort zone and getting a little outrageous has changed my life.
“I want everyone I reach to experience the same transformation through the “GoGaGa™” process I’ve developed to help attendees unleash their ‘Inner Superstar’ and realize that it’s never too late to bust through their fears to perform at levels they never thought possible. My talk takes people from ‘I can’t’ to ‘I can’ in 60 minutes – with my special brand of entertainment with a message.”
Results? One happy client says:
“Lynn, you were a breath of fresh air in a stale climate! We needed your enthusiasm, words of wisdom, advice, and passion.
“Our office had become stagnant, and you helped to “supercharge” us!!! As you know the audience was 50/50 – males to females. It was interesting to get their reactions – 100% had positive feedback! Everyone took away something good to use in their arsenal.
“Our office now seems more normal, energized, and eager to step out of their comfort zone and move forward. This is a win-win situation for all of us!”
If you’re ready to jumpstart your organization to launch it on the road to success and make this the best year EVER for you and your team, it may be time to shake things up … with something completely different and completely fun – and moreover, completely effective.

UNMASKED?
By this time, I have pretty much forgotten about lipstick, and earrings are definitely an afterthought. Such are the outcomes of two years of mask-wearing.
Those first few weeks of wearing a mask to the grocery store, and everywhere in between, made me realize there was more than one reason (to wit, my ineptitude at math and chemistry) that I was not destined to work in a masked profession, like healthcare. I have the utmost respect and humility toward all those who have endured endless months behind masks and all the other PPE they’ve had to contend with throughout this COVID pandemic.
And yet, though totally vaccinated and boosted, I’ll admit I’m not totally ready to go maskless in public places with strangers. I’ve actually become accustomed to whipping a KN95 out of my pocket, or the car door, whenever I’m out and about, and I don’t mind putting it on at all.
So, I’ll be keeping my supply ready, as we wait and see if we will remain maskless, at least optionally.
Until next time, please take care of yourself for your well being and those you love.
Yours truly,
Barbara
