Breast Cancer Thriver and Diversity & Inclusion Speaker
Tai Harden-Moore, Founder of Moore Consultants, LLC, is a dedicated diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion advocate and breast cancer thriver who encourages others to be their own best advocates as they navigate their own cancer and healthcare journeys.
Tai has an unwavering commitment for raising awareness of unconscious bias in healthcare, specifically addressing the disparities that Black women face in terms of breast cancer and finding the necessary interventions to reduce those disparities.
Since being diagnosed with stage III inflammatory breast cancer at age 31, Tai has shared her personal cancer story with thousands of people through speeches and media interviews, giving others hope in the face of hopelessness; yet her favorite conversations are one-on-one conversations with newly diagnosed patients because she gets to empower them by sharing her message of strength, resiliency, and self-advocacy. Throughout her own cancer journey, Tai has focused her energy on uplifting others and helping them to discover their voice so they can be their own best advocate when it comes to their breast and overall health.
