Praise
"Shannon Miller exceeded our expectations in terms of her message for the public, community, students, and teachers. Shannon was very flexible and willing to answer questions that the public had regarding being an Olympic gold medalist and the struggles and opportunities that it brought. Our staff at the Health Department were blown away by Shannon’s kindness, willingness to be flexible, and ability to connect with our residents on a common basis. We would definitely recommend Shannon to anyone looking to hold an important speaking event that will not only motivate people but will resonate with them for years to come. Thank you, Barbara, for all of your hard work in making this event so successful! I really appreciate it!" -- Tyler J. Shaw, Environmental Health Director, Allegany Department of Health, Belmont, NY
"Shannon Miller was invited as the keynote speaker for our third annual Women’s Wellness Day event. Her moving presentation of overcoming adversity as both an Olympic athlete and cancer survivor inspired our guests. She was the perfect speaker and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend booking Shannon Miller." – Luke Thomas, Marketing & Outreach Manager, Capital Regional Medical Center
"Working with Shannon Miller was an absolute pleasure from our first conversation through the close of the event. She was the consummate professional and a true partner. Shannon invested time in understanding our audience and delivered a message that connected powerfully with our attendees, leaving them inspired and challenged to think differently about leadership, resilience, and excellence. Shannon didn't simply speak at HEAL. She became part of the experience." — HEAL 2026
Olympic Medalist, Ovarian Cancer Survivor Speaker - The Gold Medal Mindset
Shannon Miller has taken her role as an Olympic champion to great heights as a speaker and role model while remaining as grounded as the girl next door. I always get feedback about how welcoming, personal, and kind she is, and that’s before she even takes the stage. That’s always been of primary importance to me — that a speaker be true to their message, authentic and accessible off stage as on. That’s not always a characteristic one finds in a celebrity, but it’s not a question with Shannon. Her keynotes about resilience, goal setting, teamwork, and commitment to excellence resonate with any audience, from nonprofits to Fortune 50. She brings her lessons learned through her Olympic training to cancer survivor events, having applied them to her own experience surviving ovarian cancer. In any case, you have a winner in your court when Shannon takes the microphone.
