Through her writing and speaking, she challenges individuals to release unrealistic expectations, reclaim their peace, and lead from a place of balance rather than burnout. She is also deeply committed to shaping the next generation, authoring children’s books that teach confidence, perseverance, and character, including The Power of Two Words – A Little Motherly Advice, Mr. Brown, Will You Please Open The Door!, and Give It To Me Now!.

A woman of faith, Joyce attributes her resilience and purpose to God’s grace. Her story is one of perseverance and hope. As a mother, two-time breast cancer survivor, entrepreneur, artist, and widow, she wakes each morning anchored in three powerful words that guide her life and leadership: “It Ain’t Over!”

Joyce lives her purpose on purpose. She believes if she can help empower others to lead with compassion and create a lasting impact while protecting what matters most: their health, their families, and their peace then she has successfully passed the torch.

Self-Inflicted Overload

Five Steps to Achieving Work-Life Balance and Becoming Your Best

In a world that constantly demands more, many women find themselves managing careers, families, leadership responsibilities, caregiving, and endless expectations.  All while placing themselves last.

Self-Inflicted Overload is an engaging and practical program that helps participants recognize the signs of stress, overload, and an unhealthy work-life imbalance before they begin to negatively affect health, relationships, performance, and quality of life.

Through undeniable facts, personal reflection, an overload self-assessment, relatable examples, and Joyce E. Brooks’ P.E.A.C.E. Strategy, participants discover practical ways to reduce unnecessary stress, establish healthier boundaries, prioritize self-care, and regain a greater sense of balance and control.

Participants leave with increased awareness, practical tools, and renewed confidence to manage life’s demands without losing themselves in the process.

It Ain’t Over: Being Resilient in Changing Times

Change is inevitable. But how we respond to it can determine how successfully we move forward.

Whether facing changes in health, career, relationships, family responsibilities, or unexpected life circumstances, it can be difficult to remain balanced, optimistic, and focused when life does not go according to plan.

In It Ain’t Over: Being Resilient in Changing Times, Joyce E. Brooks combines personal stories, humor, practical strategies, and lessons learned through navigating major life transitions to help participants develop the mindset and tools necessary to adapt, recover, and keep moving forward.

Participants explore the impact of stress and change, the importance of self-care, and practical strategies for building resilience while maintaining personal and professional well-being.

This inspiring and interactive program reminds participants that a difficult season, unexpected setback, or major life change does not have to define the rest of the story.

It may be different. It may be difficult. But it ain’t over.

Stepping Into a New Season: Non-Negotiable Peace

After years of working, leading, caring, giving, overcoming, and showing up for others, there comes a time when women begin asking a different question: How do I want to live the next season of my life?

In this inspiring and deeply personal keynote, Joyce E. Brooks challenges women to become more intentional about protecting their time, energy, well-being, and peace.

Using humor, storytelling, life experiences, and a powerful visual illustration of our most precious resource, time, Joyce introduces an evolved P.E.A.C.E. Strategy designed to help participants prioritize themselves, execute what matters, accept what they cannot change, commit to meaningful relationships, and enjoy the life they have worked so hard to build.

Participants leave encouraged to release what no longer serves them, embrace the season ahead, and recognize that protecting their peace does not require explanation or apology.

Peace is not simply a strategy. Peace is a mandate. Peace is non-negotiable.
