Behavorial Psychology and Leadership Expert
Angela Buttimer, MS, RYT, CHC, LPC is a behavioral psychology expert and licensed psychotherapist. She is founder and CEO of Atlanta Center for Mindfulness & Well-Being, holds a graduate degree in behavioral psychology, certifications in organizational development/executive coaching and mindfulness/yoga. She delivers her expertise through multiple modalities: keynote speaking, consulting, executive coaching, entrepreneurial coaching, speaker coaching, individual coaching, psychotherapy, and corporate trainings, and retreats.
She is a regular television and media contributor and resource as an expert in her field. In her work, she addresses many aspects of mind-body psychology and wellness including but not limited to leadership, executive presence, women’s health, parenting, relationships, mind-body (integrative) health and wellness, neuroscience, mindfulness, positive psychology and emotional intelligence.
Angela also founded the mindfulness program in integrative oncology at Piedmont Healthcare over 15 years ago and continues her work there in multiple mind-body programs serving cancer patients and their families.
She is the author of two mindfulness books, CALM: Choosing to Live Mindfully (2011), Inspired: 365 Days of Mindful Mojo (2017), and is currently working on her third on Mindful Leadership. In 2017, she delivered a TEDx talk, “Defusing Stress with Mindful Mojo” and serves as a speaker coach for executives and current and aspiring TEDx speakers. Her mission is to help others feel, perform and live better.
She grew up riding motorcycles and even participated in a few rodeos in Montana. She loves meeting new people, is a life-long learner, and enjoys dancing in the kitchen while cooking healthy, delicious meals with her husband and family.
