A touch mischievous, always energetic, Britt Bensen Steele will entice you into thinking, “I’ll have what she’s having.” Britt brings her graduate studies in public health and health education, along with her strong personal belief in the mind-body connection to her presentations. Intuitive and perceptive, she’s a skilled workshop and seminar leader, with a unique ability to help inspire her participants to shift perspectives from the inside out. Larger audiences enjoy her gentle, invigorating way of getting them up and moving while she’s skillfully coaxing them into loving and believing in themselves.
Britt thrives on inspiring and encouraging change, as well as inspiring organizational health. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and her Master’s degree in Health Education and Promotion. She has a diverse background in employee wellness, corporate fitness, breast cancer clinical research and intervention, hospital-based health education, and campus health promotion. She is the author of Pilgrim — Living Your Yoga Every Single Day and My Authentic Self: A Journey Through Journal, and co-author of Wise Women Speak.
Having studied a variety of mind-body modalities, Britt weaves her knowledge with practical and experiential applications, resulting in life-changing experiences for her participants. Britt is a Nia Technique instructor, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy practitioner, a somatic facilitator and holds American Council on Exercise (ACE) certifications in personal training and group exercise instruction. She teaches mind-body fitness classes, as well as conducting workshops on stress management, life-work balance and sustainable living. Britt and her husband Larry live on their YogaFarm, in rural Vernonia, Oregon, where they hold trainings and retreats.
